Based in Norfolk, I am currently a full time employed IT security specialist with 20+ years in both public and private sector. In early 2013, I made the decision to venture into the world of photography, having previously only ever owned two basic cameras and without a clue about any of the fundamentals of photography I decided to buy my first DSLR camera; a Canon EOS 70d. My journey into photography then began with a couple of basic Canon EF lenses that were kindly donated to me and a very steep learning curve…..
Since 2013, photography has become some what of an addiction and my camera gear is never far away. Now three years into my journey, I have had my work published by the local press and on local television channels, run photography workshops – Through The Lens Workshops and have started also started doing wedding photography – Your Wedding Day in Photos. You can also find me on Facebook.
I work alongside two other local photographers at Through The Lens Workshops, and our workshops have so far been based around the Norfolk area. In 2017 we will be offering residential workshops in a number of locations throughout the UK with sponsorship from a leading manufacturer, watch this space!

I have a selection of lenses that cover all of my current aspects of photography:
Samyang 14mm f/2.8
Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4
Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8

I currently use the Formatt Hitech 100mm Square filter system with a selection of Firecrest Full ND’s and soft grads.
The most recent addition to my equipment list is the SkyWatcher Star Adventurer, this will enable me to enhance my astroscape images, begin imaging deep space objects and develop fixed and panned timelapse videos of events such as the Northern Lights.Follow Me:
